Screen Reader Support
access.see.be works in all common browsers like Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8, Firefox 2 and 3, Opera and Safari. Because of the applied strategy progressive enhancement the widgets will not be shown in all browsers – only in those that support WAI-ARIA, the basically technology access.see.be based on, which nowadays are Firefox 2+ and Internet Explorer 8+. Opera 9.5+ also asserts to support WAI-ARIA, but could not testets successfully yet. The following tables will give you an overview of the Browser and Screen Reader-Support of access.see.be:

As result you can see that Window Eyes is providing the best support for WAI-ARIA based widgets, that´s why it is used as primary screen reader for further tests in different browsers.
